  • Go to your Tumblr dashboard
  • Choose Video from the posting options near the top of the screen
  • Add your video by uploading the file, embedding the video or including the video URL (e.g. YouTube page)
  • Choose from your posting options (e.g. publish now, add to queue, etc.)
  • And post your video 

While it is not necessary to include text when posting video to Tumblr, you will improve your marketing efforts by including a call to action in the comments field below the video
